Two top diplomats of Bangladesh- the present Ambassador in Washington Syed Hasan Ahmed ambassador A Tareq Karim , who was Ambassador in Washington during 9/11 terrorist attack were interviewed on the occassion of the second anniversary of 9/11.At the time of the attack, Ambassador Karim was meeting the former President Carter at the Carter Center in Atlanta. Mr Karim shared his sad feelings with Mr Carter.He also attended President's Bush's first address in the Congres and conveyed the feelings of the people of Bangladesh and his government's support for the war on terrorism. The current Ambassador Hasan Ahmed expressed his governments total support for the war against terrorism. He mentioned that the victims of attack on the World Trade Center included several Bangladeshis as well
