A bomb threat on a Bangladesh Biman's flight delayed its departure to Karachi . The flight was scheduled to leave at 8:30 pm local time when suddenly , following the threat on telephone , passengers were asked to leave the aircraft and baggage were unloaded . State Minister for Civil Aviation, Mir Nasiruddin spoke to VOA saturday late night . He said that the hoax call was made to disrupt the smooth flight operation of the Biman. He, however, said that in accordance with the safety regulation the flight had to be delayed and the aircraft was thoroughly inspected.
