United Nations has praised the successful activities of the peacekeeping soldiers from Bangladesh. The special representative of the UN Secretary General on Peacekeepeing Affairs Paul King , in a letter written to Bangladesh's Army Chief Lt General Hasan Masud Chowdhury, has praised the extra -ordinary efficiency of Bangladesh's peacekeepers in Liberia. At present, there are one thousand Bangladeshi peacekeepers deployed in Liberia.
