Police in Bangladesh have used tear gas and batons to disperse hundreds of students protesting the attack on writer Humayun Azad. The clash came after students at Dhaka University tried to push over barbed-wire barricades erected by police, and march off the campus to the Home Ministry to demand that Humayun Azad's attackers be arrested and put on trial. At least 50 people were injured.
