Sheikh Hasina , the Leader of the Opposition and the former Prime Minister's motorcade came under attack by a group of unknown people . Sheikh Hasina is on a five day visit to Barisal. At least 11 workers and leaders were injured and seven welcome arches demolished, allegedly by activists of the ruling Bangladesh Nationalist Party. BNP denies the charge.
