Prime Minister of Burma General Khin Nyunt on a three-day official visit to Bangladesh traveled to Bandarban and Cox's Bazar and visited Buddhist pagodas. General Nyunt said steps are being taken for repatriation of Rohingyas. In response to this reporter's question General Nyunt said there will soon be an announcement but did not clearly say whether National League for Democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi will be able to join the constitutional convention.
