Mr. M. Ullah, Founder-editor of the first Bangla newspaper published from New York, PROBASHI, commented on the situation in Iraq and Dr. Condoleezza Rice's testimony before the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States.
Mr. M. Ullah believes that the US has to deal with the situation very tactfully and with patience since the problems cannot be resolved militarily. He thinks the Iraqis within their country are now getting involved in the fighting. He also said the US withdrawal of forces may lead to a civil war in Iraq.
Mr. Ullah said that the National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice's presentation before the 9/11 Commission was very good. He also said that the testimony including the information regarding a White House memo, a month before the 9/11 attack, may have an impact on the November presidential election.
