Bikalpadhara Bangladesh candidate Mahi B Chowdhury clinched a sweeping victory in the prestigious parliamentary by-election to Munshiganj-1 constituency beating his nearest rival from BNP-led coalition by a margin of 46,182 votes.According to unofficial results, Mahi secured 76,598 votes against his nearest rival M Momin Ali of the ruling four-party coalition securing 30,416 votes.
