Bangladesh described the formation of the Interim government in Iraq as a positive development in the process of establishing the will of the people of Iraq.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry, Bangladesh also welcomed the appointment of Ghazi Ajil Al-Yawar as the President of the Interim Government.
Dhaka also hopes that the Interim Government will take all necessary measures to establish security, peace, stability and maintain territorial integrity and restore full sovereignty of Iraq for the benefit of their people.
