The former President of Bangladesh, General Hussain Muhammad Ershad, in an interview with VOA Bangla, recalls his meeting with President Reagan in the 1980s. He says that Reagan initiated the end to the cold war and he paid special attention to the South Asian countries,particularly Bangladesh. Recalling his personal experience,Gen Ershad says that Reagan was a man of humor.
