Rescuers in Bangladesh continue to search for scores of fishermen on sunday, missing after 20 boats went down in a storm Saturday in the Bay of Bengal.
So far, police say six bodies have been recovered, but local people claim that 10 bodies have been found and at least 15 people have been rescued. A fisherman's associationsays at least 144 people are still missing from Saturday's storm. Rough seas have hampered rescue efforts.
Authorities say the storm, spawned by a monsoon depression in the Bay of Bengal, lashed the Cox's Bazar and neighboring Tekhnaf coastlines, causing flooding in low-lying areas.
