A blast in an Awami League rally on Saturday afternoon resulted in the death of 12 people , more than three hundred people were injured, atleast thirty of whom are in serious condition.Leader of Awami League Central Committee, Ivy Rahman is being operated upon. Other main leaders who have been injured , includes Abdur Razzak, Tofail Ahmed, Suranjeet Sengupta,Amir Hussain Amu and others. Sheikh Hasina was cordoned off by her security members. No one has so far claimed responsibility.
