A bus has plunged into a river in Pakistan's portion of Kashmir, killing at least 12 people and injuring eight others.
Police say the bus was on the way from Neelum Valley to the region's capital, Muzaffarabad, when it veered off the road late today (Wednesday).
The injured -- some in critical condition -- have been taken to a local hospital.
Police say the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a sharp turn.
