A major blaze at a warehouse in Kolkata port destroyed export and import goods worth Rs 10 crore on Wednesday. The fire – that started around 1.45 am at berth No 4 of Netaji Subhas Docks in Kidderpore – left a precious cargo of raw silk and carpets in ashes. Cause of the fire is not known. Authorities have ordered an investigation.
