Bangladesh observed the Armed Forces Day across the country on Sunday. In the capital Dhaka, President Iajuddin and Prime Minister Begum Zia placed floral wreaths at the Shikha Anirban (Eternal Flame) at the Dhaka Cantonment in the morning to pay homage to the memories of the members of the armed forces who died in the War of Liberation in 1971.
