The ruling Bangladesh Nationalist Party and its allies - Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, Bangladesh Jatiya Party and Islami Oikya Jote held separate rallies and processions at divisional, district and Upazila headquarters including the capital city Dhaka on Monday to protest Wednesday's serial bomb blasts and mobilize public opinion against politics of anarchy and destruction. The major rally was held in Dhaka where BNP Secretary General Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan said the perpetrators of the August 17th bombings will be brought to justice. Zahurul Alam has more on the story.
