Bangladesh is to donate $1 million as humanitarian aid for the victims of the dreadful Hurricane Katrina that ravaged the New Orleans in the United States. The prime minister, Khaleda Zia, on Sunday announced the government decision to donate the amount for the victims of the natural disaster. Dhaka has also offered troops to help rebuild Katrina affected places in the USA.
