US Chargé d'affaires Judith A Chammas met with Sheikh Hasina, the leader of the main opposition party in Bangladesh, Awami League.
After the hour-long meeting, Chammas told reporters, "We've discussed many issues including the upcoming elections, the August 17 bomb blasts, and other unresolved crimes." Opposition leader expressed concern about whether the next general election will be held in a free and fair manner.
