The Supreme Court Bar Association in Bangladesh has called a countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal on Thursday to protest against Tuesday's killings in bomb attacks on Gazipur and Chittagong courts. The Awami League and other opposition parties have extended their support to the first ever call by a lawyers' body for a countrywide shutdown.
