Professor Burhanuddin Khan Jahangir , a renowned political scientist and a former professor of the department of political science has blamed Bangladesh government for promoting religion to an extent where it has now turned into terror.
In an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Service Professor Jahangir reflects on the reasons behind the rise of Islamic terrorism in what used to be an essentially rural society . He thinks that the trend of politics over the last few years have brought Bangladesh into this situation.
