Bangladesh's Prime Minister Khaleda Zia returned home yesterday after attending the two-day extraordinary summit of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) in the holy city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia. Ministers, chiefs of the three services, diplomats and senior civil and military officials received the prime minister when she arrived at Zia International Airport . Prime Minister Zia led the Bangladesh delegation at the third extraordinary summit of the 57-nation OIC in Makkah on December 7-8 that was convened by the Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.
