Professor Abul Barkat of Department of Economics at Dhaka University in Bangladesh has done a research on the Economy of Fundamentalism. In this interview he has identified eight broad sectors through which the fundamentalists are funded. He also says that the Islamic fundamentalists in Bangladesh seem to be planning to capture the state machineries. This is the first part of his two part interview.
