Dr. Adhip Choudhury is a professor of economics at Georgetown University in Washington DC. Professor Choudhury spoke to VOA about the Greenspan era at the Federal Reserve Board. Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan is retiring as Chairman of the US central bank, where he headed the committee that set the key U.S. interest rate. Professor Choudhury said during Greenspan era Americans have become wealthier but incurred more debts.
