Sheikh Hasina, the leader of the opposition in the parliament will propose reforms on caretaker government and election commission in the parliament.
She first declared her reform plans in a news conference last year and in a grand rally on January 22 she declared her intention of joining the parliament. The main opposition party in Bangladesh Awami League, after more than a year of boycotting the parliament, is joining the session on Sunday .
The opposition had been boycotting parliament on allegation that they are not allowed to speak in the parliament even on some important issues. The leader of the opposition Sheikh Hasina is unlikely to meet the Prime Minister Khaleda Zia on Sunday in the parliament because the Prime Minister will be on a visit to Pakistan then.
