The EC-Bangladesh Joint commission completed its two day meeting in Dhaka. After the meeting, a joint statement was issued and a press briefing was held.
The European Commission welcomed the recent arrest of the two terrorists. Herve Jouanjean, deputy director general for External Relations in the European Commission responsible for Asia and Latin America and Ismail Zabihullah, secretary of Economic Relations Division (ERD) of Bangladesh, co-chaired the two-day meeting.
