Congress announced on Wednesday that it will have candidates in all the 294 assembly seats for which elections will be held from next month in West Bengal.
Mamata Banerjee's Trinamul Congress on Monday had announced a list of 201 candidates for the state assembly elections, keeping aside 93 seats for a possible last minute adjustment with the Congress.
But West Bengal Pradesh Congress president and union Defense Minister Pranab Mukherjee virtually ruled out any seat adjustment with Mamata after he announced that his party, along with some minor allies, will be putting up candidates in all the assembly seats.
