Bangladesh Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia returned home after a 3-day visit to India.
Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Hemayetuddin in a press conference in Dhaka said that the visit has strengthened bilateral relations between the two countries. He said he is hopeful that the visit also helped to restore confidence and will cooperation between India and Bangladesh.
Foreign Secretary Hemayetuddin also said that the Bangladesh government did not give transit permission to India.
