Investment in Bangladesh's energy sector, import of oil on credit and at concessional rate and manpower export are likely to top the agenda of today's official talks between Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
The emir arrived at Zia International Airport at on Saturday evening on a two visit to Bangladesh. Acting President Jamiruddin Sircar and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia received the emir at VVIP tarmac.
Officials said during Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's Kuwait visit last month, the Kuwaiti leaders expressed an earnest desire to build fuel storage and special jetty at the Bay coast that will be directly connected with the state-owned Eastern Refinery at Chittagong port through pipeline.
