A peasant forum of the Communist Party of India has demanded an open discussion on the industrialization and the rehabilitation of the peasants who have suffered due to the land acquisition for building up industries.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the state council held in Kolkata. Farmer representatives from different districts of West Bengal discussed the issue of industrialization on agricultural lands.
