A spokesperson of the Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka said that the government of Bangladesh strongly condemns the Israeli attacks in Qana Lebanon which has killed several innocent civilians.
In another development an Etihad Airways flight flew seventy three Bangladeshis to Zia International Airport at 8:00am from Syria’s capital Damascus, immigration.
. Two hundred and five Bangladeshis, who were trapped in Lebanon after Israel’s bombing which began three weeks ago, have so far returned home. Seventy-six more Bangladeshis, now staying in Damascus, are expected to return home on Tuesday.
The International Organization for Migration is helping to carry the Bangladeshis home. The organization has so far evacuated 283 Bangladeshis from Lebanon and took them to Syria for repatriation.
