A meeting between the water resources ministers of Bangladesh and India on Wednesday failed to reach any consensus on issues relating to the border rivers.
Bangladesh Water Resources Minister Hafizuddin Ahmed said they discussed different issues at the meeting but nothing was resolved. He said that with this discussion, the gaps are narrowing. His Indian counterpart Saifuddin Soz said that some technical problems are unsolved and they need little a more time.
