Rumana Chowdhury , an erstwhile all rounder in Dhaka University has been living in Canada now nearly for 25 years. She was once the National Badminton Champion in Bangladesh amongst girls for consecutively four years.
In Canada she has been seen as an expert on Bangladeshi Women and Social Affairs since 1997. Rumana has also been working as an interpreter with different immigration and law organizations. Rumana’s advise is often sought on the situation in Bangladesh in the court of law.
Rumana is also a writer and having an active past in Bangladesh she says she misses the country where she was born.
