An explosion on a passenger train in eastern India has killed 15 people and injured at least 50 more.
The blast occurred on Monday at a train station in Belakoba, some 500 kilometers north of Kolkata.
Local police say many of the injuries are serious, adding that the death toll could rise.
The cause of the explosion was not immediately known. Local police say separatist rebels from the Kamtapur Liberation Organization are known to be active in the region.
