Police in India now say at least 65 people are feared dead after their overcrowded boat capsized on a river in southern Andhra Pradesh state.
Reports quote local officials as saying between 70 and 80 people were onboard the overcrowded boat when it sank on Thursday. The passengers were pilgrims taking part in a religious festival in Mehboobnagar district.
Police initially said around 45 people were missing and feared dead. Divers are searching for bodies.
