Iran has proposed to be given observer status at the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
Bangladesh Foreign Affairs Adviser Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury said Bangladesh will positively consider Iran's proposal. He made the comment during a press briefing on the 14th SAARC summit to be held in New Delhi on April 3 to April 4.
