Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar have refused to give visa to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and members of her family.
The Saudi Arabian embassy in Dhaka has refused to grant her a visa because it was not convinced that Khaleda Zia was leaving the country of her own volition. The embassy did not accept Khaleda Zia’s signature in the visa application form, saying it does not prove that she wants to go to the kingdom.
Kuwait and Qatar also refused to give Khaleda a visa.
