An All Party Peace Meeting begins at Mahajati Sadan , Kolkata on Thursday, 24 May with an aim to sustain peace and development in Nandigram.
This was announced in a joint press conference following a thirty minute meeting between the Trinomul Congress Leader Mamata Banerjee and a veteran Forward Block leader Asok Ghosh.
Ashok Ghosh expects that the top leaders of all parties will attend the meeting. He added that he would apprise Biman Basu, the Chairman of the Left front of the outcome of this meeting. Mamata Benerjee practically echoed Ashok Ghosh’s voice and said that they would like to go to this all party meeting with an open mind.
