Shimul Yusuf has been a renowned name in the cultural arena of Bangladesh. Shimul started acting in plays and also singing songs since she was a child artist in Radio and TV.
Recently she has been acting in a monodrama called “ Binodini”on a stage in Dhaka . This play is based on the life of a nineteenth century Indian actress Binodini Dasi who opened the door for women in acting .
