With regard to the current situation in Bangladesh, Law Adviser Moinul Hossain says his government took prompt steps to address the unwanted incident at Dhaka University between some students and the security members a few days ago.
But some ‘dark forces’ took the opportunity and tried to turn the incident into a political movement, he adds.
He criticizes the university teachers who are politically inclined and making statements against the current government. He says media should play a constructive role and cooperate with the political reform process that his government is trying to bring about.
