The External Affairs Minister of India Pranab Mukherjee denied this rumor that Taslima Nasreen , the controversial writer from Bangladesh was kept under house arrest in the Indian capital. He, however, added that Taslima’s movements have been restricted for her own security.
In the meantime, the publication of the 6th part of Taslima’s autobiography Dikhondito has now become uncertain because the author has informed her publishers in Kolkata that in the prevailing situation she has not been able to finish her writings.
The publisher is at a fix whether to keep Taslima’s books in the upcoming Book Fair in Kolkata .
