Bangladesh Chief Adviser has reallocated portfolios of two advisers and three special assistants, in a follow-up to the recent reshuffle in the council of advisers.
In a major change, shipping, land and Liberation War affairs adviser and chief of the National Coordination Committee on serious crime and corruption Maj Gen (retd) MA Matin was given the charge of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
A notification issued by the Cabinet Division said the portfolios of Adviser M Anwarul Iqbal were also reallocated placing LGRD and cooperatives ministry, textiles and jute ministry, and labor and employment ministry under his jurisdiction.
The chief adviser's press secretary told VOA that another two special assistants will be appointed on Wednesday.
