In Bangladesh, a presidential order pardoned four students of Dhaka University who had been convicted in connection with violation of Emergency Power Rules last August during campus unrest.
The same presidential order also pardoned 10 Rajshahi University students and an employee of the institution, who had been convicted last December of torching a Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) vehicle during the campus violence triggered by the Dhaka University incidents.
