Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited and US plane manufacturer Boeing signed an agreement for the Biman to procure eight new-generation aircraft.
Biman also singed a memorandum of understanding with the American company to purchase two flights for its regional routes. The aircraft will be delivered in 2015.
Dr MA Momen, managing director and chief executive officer of the Biman, and Glen A Green, regional director of the Boeing, signed the deals at Biman office in the capital.
