Bangladesh Foreign Affairs Adviser Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury strongly condemned the bomb explosions in India's Jaipur.
He said that it was a mindless and shameful act that deserves condemnation in the strongest terms. He expressed sympathies for the families of the victims and the Indian authorities.
He also said that Indian media should not jump to conclusions before thorough investigations are conducted. He was referring to news items in the Indian media that Bangladesh-based Harkatul Jihad (HuJI) may be involved in the attacks.
