On behalf of Bangladesh Government a 33-member combined military and civil Medical team led by Lt. Col. Anwar left Dhaka by two BAF Aircrafts C-130 and An-32 for Burma on Wednesday.
Besides the Medical team, the two Aircraft also carried approximately 11 tons of Medicines and relief goods which included different medicines, water, oral saline, and pure water supplying plant.
Among others, Director Military Operations, Director Medical Directorate, Commander Independent Engineer Brigade and Base Commander of BAF Base Kurmitola Group Captain Masihuzzaman and senior army officials were present on the occasion.
