President Iajuddin Ahmed has appointed MM Ruhul Amin as the next chief justice.
The appointment will be effective June 1.
The president will administer the oath of office at the Bangabhaban for the new chief justice.
Justice MM Ruhul Amin will be the 16th chief justice.
