The Chief Adviser of the military backed interim government in Bangladesh Dr
Fakhruddin Ahmed, on Saturday said the Election Commission had already
completed major task of holding the coming general elections by December and
upazila polls would be held before the general elections as desired by people.
The chief adviser said this while
addressing local elite and members of different professional bodies in a
regional dialogue, first of its kind, at the Kashem Mahbub High School auditorium at Chandanaish upazila
headquarters in Chittagong.
