Visiting British minister of state for Communities and Local Government, Hazel Blears MP has said that the UK supports the government's decision to lift the emergency by degrees ahead of the national election to ensure both safe and credible polls.
During her visit to Bangladesh, Ms Blears met the Chief Adviser, the Home Affairs Adviser and leading members of civil society in Dhaka and Sylhet.
