United States Marine Corps team based in Okinawa, Japan is visiting Bangladesh to participate in a humanitarian assistance/disaster relief simulation exercise called "Durjoge Durnibar," with the Bangladesh Armed Forces.
The five-day exercise will simulate disaster relief operations following an earthquake.
Joint exercises will improve the ability of the US and Bangladesh to work together in future natural disasters.
