Bangladesh Election Commission (EC) today sought deployment of the army across the country during the ninth parliament and third upazila elections to maintain law and order.
Election Commission Secretary Muhammad Humayun Kabir said at a press briefing that the EC wants deployment of the army from four to five days before the parliamentary election to two to three after the upazila polls to maintain law and order across the country.
